Pure Kapok Fiber
Pure Kapok Fibers are one of the natural fibers which are grown on the kapok plant. These fibers have a hollow shaped body as well as a sealed tail, which is highly suitable for the functional textiles of this nature. Pure Kapok Fibers are yellowish brownish in color, lustrous and manufactured of a mixture of cellulose and lignin. Each fiber is 3.5 cm long and has a wide lumen along with thin walls which are covered with waterproof wax. This remarkable combination gives kapok some distinctive characteristics.
